What does it mean to make disciples? Whom should be made disciples? Why baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit? How does this reveal God’s hope and love for the world?
How else were they to make disciples (20a)? What were they (and we) to obey and teach (7:24)? How can we teach disciples to obey everything Jesus commanded them?
What did Jesus promise his disciples (20b)? What does this mean? How does Jesus fulfill this promise (Jn 14:23; cf. Mk 16:20)?
